I remember playing with that a while ago but lost the URL, what is it?
For what it's worth. We have recently setup a Red Hat 6 linux box running
CVS 1.10.5 and using WinCVS 1.6 as the client. Being full CVS running
under *nix gives us great flexibility.
I am currently waiting on our IT department to setup the firewall/proxy
etc. etc. to allow us access to the machine via the Internet, so that our
developers can access the code repository from off-site (home, and remote
offices) around the country.
WinCVS -can- be used standalone using a local code-repository that
multiple users can access and use (without running a linux box) but this
doesn't allow for "remote access". There are also several features that
make running the box under linux very handy.
i.e. when ever code is committ'd back to the repository, I have the system
configured to email the software dev group with information about that
update, this will no doubt be VERY handy when code is being updated from
off-site.
And to think, all it took was 2 lines of configuration to enable to
client/server ness of CVS.
