We have a problem ...
We have just put in some new machines and are getting the following
two distortions on some / all of them.
1. "Some" images on the icons on the tool bar on our apps are badly
distorted. Every time you compile them the images come out bad but
never exactly the same. Not all machines have the problems but
running an app with distorted images on a machine that doesn't
distort gives bad results.
On the "bad" machine delphi's toolbar images are distorted but no
other apps. I thought it might be ComCtl32.dll. Have got it up
to date but no solution there. Any thoughts??
2. The 2nd problem may have been happening for a while and I just
haven't noticed .... When you have one form opened on top of
another form (common) and drag the top form around (less common) it
ghosts. ie It leaves its image behind to be smothered by the next
image that goes overtop of it. The effect is like what you get
when you win the MS Patience card game. Also a little like some
screen savers!. How do I stop this from happening?
