Are you saying here that instead of re-installing BDE5.10 (using Wise) that

of the update for me? Can you point me to documentation of this please? Is
this an easier way to go? Is it reliable?
I dunno about 5.10, but certainly for 5.01 that was the case, and yes it
works very well. I beleive there is an Upgrade for 5.1 but haven't used it
(yet). From memory I also seem to remember that for the 5.10 upgrade there
are some problems which are fixed temporarily by copying in some files from
Version 5.01. All this 01 v 10 stuff confuses the issue somewhat eh!
Its available from w.borland.com and U have to find your own way to BDE
updates from there.
