I wrote a simple one designed to blend into a background image (TImage) by
using an 8-bit greyscale mask. The result looks quite nice. If you're
interested, I can e-mail you the source - it comes with about half a dozen
components for stuff like antialiased text, scrolling marquees, knobs,
sliders and stuff for an MP3 player I'm writing.
