I use Delphi-x on a daily basis. Its a piece of cake to use and is the best
set of components I have come across for either D3D or Opengl for use with
Delphi.
Beware though if you are planning on making models that you would like to
load into Direct3d (x files). that it is difficult to get from other file
formats to x file.
You can go straight from Max to x file with the free conv3ds file thats ok.
If you want to go from lightwave, Maya or any of the more 'graphical'
development tools rather than gaming its a little more difficult. You may
need a couple of intermediate steps..
Cheers,
Matt.
