I agree with Neven (what a change!!! :) ), tho I'd also look at Windows 2000
Server, as it has this functionallity built in.

My 'ideal' solution, while still remaining on a budget, would be to have
some form of replication on the servers - they dial back into HO (or the
net - its just a big WAN anyway) every hour or whatever, upload their
changes (with insert into...) and DL their new records (from HO and the
other office). They are not, however, allowed to touch the records of the
other branches - just view them - if you allow alteration, replication gets
MESSY very quickly.

Citrix/Win2KServer would most likely be a better option, tho, if they can
eat the cost of the server (if its just this app, then it shouldn't be too
bad) and the cost of 5x8 (ie, not 24x7) phone line charges. ADSL, if they
can get it, is a GOOD option, 'cos its VERY fast, always switched on, and
despite what Telecom may say, you CAN get a fixed IP address VERY VERY
easily.
