Purely a painful expriance and desire to educate others 8-)

As I said its an 'image' problem. The Profax Accounting software works
Windows very hard in some places, and on older machines and those with
buggy drivers its our software that breaks. The user then precieves that
as the other software runs perfectly well, but our software doesn't it
must be our problem. We have hit this with networking, drawing and
printers so far. Sigh.
As demonstrated by Alex Kouznetsov the same 'image' issue turns up with
Delphi. Hopefully Alex has been adequately educated now, but on his
machine all the other stuff ran perfectly (we presume) but Delphi had a
problem so it must be Borland fault.
Any starting developer pulling a Delphi demo down and firing it up on his
3l33t box and seeing this problem is going to dump on Borland without
asking or thinking. All we can do is educate and hopefully people will
learn.
Cheers, Max.
PS: For the humour impared '3l33t' is not a type, but a what most w4r3z
d00dz ('warez doods' if you haven't got it yet) try to achieve. For a
better explanation look under 'Biff' in the Jargon doctionary.
