Jeremy,
you should, under no circumstances that I know of, be using 5.5. It has a
BIG bug in it that makes the server crash when it tries to sweep the
database.
Needless to say, this is NOT good.
Get 5.6 - AFAIK its a free upgrade. Better yet, get 5.6 for Linux - not a
free upgrade tho - as it runs about 1.5-2x the speed of NT, especially under
load.

We use 5.5, and have for a while, and the other day I got a CD that had IB
5.6 on it.
Is the diff. between them worth upgrading too ??
