Great! Thanks for that useful reply. Because of the vague error message I
wasn't sure whether it just wasn't possible or whether I had a syntax (or
similar) error.
I've got it working now. I see that I could also have done this using the
execute method of a TDatabase component. Amazing what you find when you
abandon the 3rd party D5 books and go back to the Borland documentation :-).
