I found the component that suits me just fine for the purpose of exporting
to Excel.
It's relatively cheap (US90 with full source code), needs only one line of
Delphi code to run it. It uses all (or almost all) Excel features since you
define the report template in Excel itself, so you could have things like
macros, functions, conditional formatting and so on.
In Delphi you have only one non-visual component that can be hooked to
multiple datasets, and it's quite quick.
