One of the reasons that I have spent time on this is that I have been a
Delphi user since version 1. Ever since I first saw Delphi I have thought
that it has been wonderful. However, at these prices I cannot see myself
persuading our managers to pay for this product... 

Like others on this news group my liking for Delphi has lead to all of the
companies that I have worked for buying Delphi and using it in some form or
other. 

In short - I am being compelled to leave the Delphi world, much as I would
like to stay in it, and I will not be able to act as an advocate for it any
more. It's kind of sad.

Enough said. Its time for me to move on.
