That's very usefull. I like the idea of a staged upgrade.
I wonder if the problems were specifically with the TTable component or the
DB aware visual components that were referencing the TTable. My app does
not use any DB aware visual components.
Re Interbase vs MS-SQL. I guess it comes down to whether you go with the
safety of the crowd (and all of the knowledge that is available), and the
odd extra sale to people who won't buy anything that is not MS vs a less
expensive but thoroughly practical non mainstream solution.
My heart and my head are not on the same wave-length here!
