I don't know about the runas option - the app needs to run as per normal ,
it's just the BDE bit that needs to be able to write to it registry.
When it comes down do it - The BDE shouldn't need to write to the registry,
no configuration is being changed (that's what they want to stop - users
fiddling)
The Admin people come along - log in and do admin stuff when required!
