Depends on what you are after.

I thought it was okay, until last Thursday I was reading stuff by Peter
Gutmann from Auckland Uni. The other side of the coin it that it would
appear to be difficult to do your own security/encryption and get it correct
- ie without introducing bugs that make it easy to break for very
non-obvious reasons.
