I'm using a library called DEC which is free (used it for years) and
supports 30+ hash and cyphers with all the majors supported. Its as easy
as using Tstream or Buffer Copying.
Most of the security issue is really revolved around how you send your
passwords and method for defining the encryption key etc. as long as you
pick a safeish method you are probably safe from most hassles with
hackers who want to spend time thrashing your system :)
