Mmmm. Is this theory or fact? I have yet to see a Java application that didn't run like a dog (compared to native apps like Delphi compiled apps). So are you saying that in future JIT compilers will be able to run as fast as native code, or are you saying they currently do? If the latter then I would have to say I think you are wrong.
