I can't see a change of Government making anything better. Traditionally a
National govt means more inflation, more strikes and disruption, more
unemployment, lower interest rates because the NZ dollar is not worth
anything.
You are probably like me scarred by Rob Muldoon, though I disagree with
your generalization 'Traditionally ',
You could say that labour was traditionally communist because when it
formed it advocated state ownership of all land.
(a policy quickly dropped), My problem for voting for one of the minor
parties is that everyone of them would sell their
soul to get some power and some (such as the greens) have an overly
inflated sense of self importance (Fitzsimmons said at her
conference, that National would have to promise not to cut benefits in
order to coalesce, 5% of the vote and she thinks she
can dictate 33% of gov spending), Peter Dunne is the politician for
'Nice People', Winston for senile ones, Rodney for
angry narrow minded ones.
I'll vote for the conservatives
N
Which is better? (I don't vote for either Labour or National).

Heh.
And here was me thinking it was due to the highest interest rates in the
Western World... ;-)
