I have a utility program that converts one file to another, and is to be run as a scheduled task on a Windows 2008 server.
Is there any reason one should not use a timer in a scheduled task? I am told the logs show the program does not terminate, and I am wondering if this is because there is a timer in it - its purely cosmetic so could be removed.
