I think you are right. The Program Files folder lost somehow its purpose. My first priority is to deliver a small application that is able to run under non-administrator conditions. Because under XP, 'Program files' was taboo for me, and now 'C:' is also taboo, the only solution is to install the program on Desktop (as somebody suggested). If you have a single drive, then you must create a separate partition for Windows. If you put to much space in that partition you will waste it, if you put too less you will fill it quickly and run out of space. Finally you will end up waisting hours and hours of work with a partitioning tool to resize your partitions.
