While you are at it, replace Vista with Ubuntu 7.10 and run XP in a 
virtual machine. Solves any number of problems including incompatibility 
and the next transfer to another computers. It will be faster that a 
virtual machine in Vista, and you will have a new OS that is actually 
fun to use. It will recognize automagically most of your hardware btw.
