Odd, using UPXG 1.39 (latest version) an default options, it didn't modify the exe at all, i.e. it didn't even bother making a backup.
If I tick 'Reduce the exe before compression' and 'Force compression', it reduced my 25MB exe to 24MB, so bugger all. The exe uses DevExpress components.
