I generally keep an eye on av-comparatives.org and overall Avast, AVG and Avira all have free versions and all score comparable as any commercial ones. Of the commercial ones Kaspersky and Norton usually score high.
Personally been fond of Avira for a few years, have used Avast as well. -----Original Message----- From: John C Sent: Tuesday, August 23, 2016 7:45 PM To: 'NZ Borland Developers Group - Delphi List' Subject: [DUG] Anti-virus software Hi all I'm already for too long on a free version of AVG. Seems ok but not good enough I guess, plus I'm getting bombarded with daily advertising about upgrading. So the BIG question is; should I stay with AVG and upgrade or should I go (back) to MacAfee or perhaps Norton, or any other? Any suggestions and recommendations appreciated.
