Hi Guys Thanks very much for your feedback. I will take your advice and go for MS's anti-virus software.

The worst virus I ever experienced was Free AVG and all its other equally bad colleagues I just use Windows essentials. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of David O'Brien Sent: Wednesday, 24 August 2016 8:37 a.m. To: NZ Borland Developers Group - Delphi List Subject: Re: [DUG] Anti-virus software Agreed. If you are not the sort to go randomly browsing, and are careful with emails, Windows Defender or Security Essentials are fine and don't nag too much. I have only had a virus in the last ten years when looking for infections on a sacrificial machine. Some infections bypass all anti-virus programs, especially if someone runs a program or script from an email, and if the user allows it. The best defense is being careful and alert. _______________________________________________ NZ Borland Developers Group - Delphi mailing list Post: [email protected] Admin: http://delphi.org.nz/mailman/listinfo/delphi Unsubscribe: send an email to [email protected] with Subject: unsubscribe
