I am an employee and we have 7 (soon to be 8) full time Delphi developers. We mostly use Delphi as a RAD Drag 'n' Drop IDE developing a few large ongoing applications.
We also do a lot of non-visual development including components (for internal use), web services, midas (datasnap?) services and indy tcp-ip services. One interesting thing we do, is develop Delphi Win32 applications which run on Citrix Metaframe and are target at Phone (Internet) enabled Pocket PC devices. It costs out clients about $70 a month in data charges, but that is runniing 24/7, and they get the advantage of completely realtime data.
