Todd It's huge mate (or is that "I.T.s huge, mate") - several hundred laptops being trundled around the school by people who include rugby players. What can you expect? Using MUSAC software without the protection/assistance of TS. And I writes plenty myselfs, I does (stuff like a program that emails staff their timetables if there've been any changes and indicates what those changes are; 'nother one for their class lists; 'nother one to email period 1 lists because of the absences system; 'nother one on the way for kids' timetables; a reports program; and that's not all ...). Just wish I could do web pages and stuff like that. I did _see_ a web page once. Wayne
