I have run the same LilyPond version under windows and generated the pdf http://www.denemo.org/dl31 which displays correctly in evince under linux and acrord32 under windows. It is also smaller because I have taken out all the point-and-click links. I think this is ready to go to press. However, until we make a release, very few people will be able to make use of the source file :(
Any enthusiasm for a release?
