Follow-up Comment #1:
It would be quite a lot of work to store the gui - there is not just the
widgets, but these in turn have data attached to them, including signals with
pointers registered with them.
I was wondering where to document that the gui for score layout is only for
the current session, after which it can be used but requires LilyPond
expertise to modify. Perhaps a section at the end of the tooltip.
