I compiled and installed the poppler from squeeze (0.12.4-1.2). With
that I can compile evince2, but I get a linking error:

/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -levdocument

Right now I don't see a solution for this.

Moreover, I'm wondering if this is the right path to go. Would a user
want to install all sorts of old libraries?
