The patch as-is does not even build: there is a rogue "}" in the line right
before the final "#endif".
However, after removing the offending line, denemo builds fine and I can
actually make a PDF from a simple score I typed in it
(File - Export As - Export PDF; I cannot find under View menu the Typeset and
PDF item...).
Attached the resulting file.
As for the "real" culprit: I don't know much of evince & Co., nor I am very
fond of the autotools intricacies...
Perhaps is some file lacking a needed guard or define?
