I agree it has been working well for me on Linux in the way I use it (no sync). I guess I'm wondering if the project is dormant. The four years since the last release is often a sign of a EOL open source project. The mailing list has seen several months of zero postings in 2011, 2012. There are open bug reports at sourceforge with suggestions of fixes going back to 2009. Similar tools like fail2ban, sshguard or sshblock have more recent activity in development cycles. I've found none of the alternatives work as well and install as easily as Denyhosts. I'd like to see it continue. Just wished it worked on Solaris 10. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Better than sec?
