If you are willing to compile vsftp and openssh, it works well on Solaris 10.
I've been using it on a number of Solaris 10 systems for years now. Works well and doesn't require much beyond explaining to the occasional user they have locked themselves out and why. I white list local ISPs (class B addresses) in /etc/hosts.allow I wrote a denyhosts.xml to run it as a service in Solaris. rohan /var/log# cat /etc/release Oracle Solaris 10 8/11 s10s_u10wos_17b SPARC Copyright (c) 1983, 2011, Oracle and/or its affiliates.
