Is it an antlet issue? Oughtn't they not be single-project builders, with a multi-project builder running them like any other ant script?
antlets will handle src.dir="dir1:dir2" for somethings, compiles for example. Not sure about the other task like pmd, javasrc, etc
Maybe you could try using Gump locally to build this, it really is very close to being ready.
