Thanks for these, Dag. Especially the reminder about XA behavior. I was having
trouble figuring out where to put it and forgot. I think it should be in the
main discussion in the CONSTRAINT clause topic, and also maybe in
http://db.apache.org/derby/docs/10.10/ref/rrefjta1003415.html (in the section
on JTA near the end), almost the only place in the docs where the
XAResource.prepare method is mentioned. BTW, I don't quite see the difference
between the two paragraphs in the spec under "XA Run-time Behavior". They both
seem to say the same thing -- what am I missing?
I have not been providing the exact SQLException code in topics that mention
that exceptions are thrown. It seems like an implementation detail. Would you
prefer that these be stated?
I'll work on another patch.
