Kathey Marsden commented on DERBY-3375:
---------------------------------------
Dyre asked ...
>Why would it be harder to distribute an xml file than a set of property files?
I guess the trouble is not in the distribution but in merging all those xml
files together once you get them back. So if you sent the xml file out to n
translators and got n variations back, you would have to merge them all
together, take into account any new messages that have been added in the
meanwhile and make sure they all get merged correctly. Seems harder to me
than just checking and checking in n property files.
I am not working in translated files these days nor do I think I will be any
time soon, so you should do whatever you think will make it easier for those
who are, but just thought I would mention it as food for thought.
