John H. Embretsen commented on DERBY-1387:
------------------------------------------

Regarding the latest additions to the wiki page
http://wiki.apache.org/db-derby/JMXSecurityExpectations:

 * JMX Security setups:
      - As a description of how things work, it looks correct to me.

 * Access Control Proposal:
      - See separate mail thread on derby-dev:

      - I noticed that Derby connection authorization (db-authr) is not
mentioned in the proposal. Does this mean that this will be ignored, at least
for JMX actions that do not rely on obtaining a regular JDBC connection to the
database from the MBean?
      - How does this proposal relate to Derby authentication?
        I'm still a bit puzzled here, I guess. On the wiki we have noted:

(perhaps a discussion about this proposal should continue as a separate thread
on derby-dev?)
