Myrna has commented on DERBY-3701, addressing concerns about the release note.
I've airbrushed the release note a bit to clarify the distinction between
branches and releases. I'm inclined to include this note in the issues section
of the 10.4.2 release notes: the incompatibility is slight but worth
documenting.
