The bottom right corner is an active corner in Gnome Shell -- therefore, buttons in that corner in maximized applications are basically impossible to click on, so I'd advise against any on-hover behavior. I'd also prefer to have the clickable slider shown up-front, without having to wait for a slider to appear. Why not have what Astron suggested -- a slider on the bottom, where it is right now? I've updated the wiki page<https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Design/Whiteboards/Hidden_statusbar>accordingly. > > At the moment, the right bottom corner is mostly unused when we have > both scrollbars visible, so we would occupy just a slightly more space > than now in the case it is not extended. > > Regards, > Kendy > > > -- > Unsubscribe instructions: E-mail to [email protected] > Problems? > http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ > Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette > List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/design/ > All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be > deleted > -- Unsubscribe instructions: E-mail to [email protected] Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/design/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
