I think Google Calendar deals with this issue by saying "iCal" in the UI,
but expanding it to "iCal format (e.g., for Apple iCal)" in the online
help. So it might not be such a problem for a reasonably competent user.
OTOH, would platform-neutrality be clearer if the label under the icon
said ".ics" instead?
