Yup, I'm saying that Reply/Forward might need this, and since I hadn't realized it would be a problem with selection coming from the preview pane, I thought it was worth letting Brian know there's an issue here (probably Brian doesn't need to resolve it; perhaps John?). Note that there isn't a bug for this, because I hadn't convinced myself whether this is a bug or a feature, but if we want Reply/Forward to have this behavior, we need to file one. Personally, I don't think we want to prevent people from creating replies when they're looking at the In collection (and I suppose the Trash). For other collections I think we want to put the reply in the currently selected collection (Out shouldn't be a problem, the reply goes in Out, too!).
