No, if a new item is added from the quick item view, it will always
be at the top of the list. Even in reversed sort by triage. The new
item would be the one 'Now' item in the 'Done' section, then until
the user manually refreshes the browser will the item go back into
the 'Now' section. That is until we have the 'Resort' (purge) button—
which I don't believe is scheduled for 0.7. I don't know if you think
the workflow is weird, but this is until we have the 'resort' (purge)
button which will be scheduled shortly after preview.
We could auto-resort when users create new items so that the NOW
section is always at the top? That might be kind of weird.
No auto resort unless you're talking about when the user refreshes
their browser—Auto resort sounds like something is being pushed to
the page. If you're talking about everything a user refreshes the
browser the and 'Now' section appears at the top again, even though
they were just looking at the 'Done' section—then yes, that would be
a weird and inconsistent behavior.
