Got it.

Please enter the master password you used to protect this file or all account passwords will be deleted.

(I think most users will think of this simply as their master password as they won't have a set a new master password before reloading the .chex file and save/restore settings is now in the Tools menu so reloading .chex files should be the case we optimize the UI for.)

Logging a bug against myself to take a look at the master password modeling/workflows post-Preview.

Thx for explaining all this to me Heikki.

Ack, you can have multiple master passwords! although, this is very much
an edge case no?

Well, whenever you are loading settings or .chex files there are two
master passwords at play: the one currently in use (usually the default
"") and the one used in the settings or .chex file.

Please enter the master password you used to protect this .chex file or
all account passwords will be deleted.

That works, except that currently there is just one string for both
settings file and .chex file. You cannot make that into two strings in a translation file. You could leave out the .chex part and it would cover
both settings and .chex files.
