Mimi sent out a note about the Central location for managing Cosmo UI art
http://lists.osafoundation.org/pipermail/design/2007-July/007463.html
+ Mimi has created a centralized wiki page for all the Cosmo UI art - http://chandlerproject.org/Journal/CosmoImages

Mimi and Travis met to go through Cosmo signup workflow - Sign-up Workflow UI Review
http://lists.osafoundation.org/pipermail/design/2007-July/007464.html
+ They made some changes to the spec and these modifications are being kept up on the wiki. The screenshots will not look exactly like what is implemented since it's quite a bit of work to modify these on an iterative basis.
+ Mimi logged a number of bugs to cover all the UI changes.

Mimi sent out a Cosmo proposal for Resend account activation email
http://lists.osafoundation.org/pipermail/design/2007-July/007465.html
+ Jared had logged a couple of bugs that allow users to request that an administrator resend their account activation email. + We need to re-prioritize this feature request with everything else that needs to get done prior to feature freeze. + Although the account activation workflow is not perfect these are not blockers for Preview. We decided to defer them to future and see what kind of issues our users run into.

Mimi sent out the summary of a Contacts Design session she had with Ed Bindl.
http://lists.osafoundation.org/pipermail/design/2007-July/007468.html
+ Mimi summarized some the thoughts and discussions we have had about contacts so far. + Mimi put together a number of thoughts and proposals for comment from development. This covers stuff like edit update, sharing and issues that we have encountered whenever we start to think about handling contacts. + Ed followed up that he has started to integrate Ernesto's (last year's summer of code student) work into the latest build of Chandler. + Several people responded to Mimi's email with their thoughts on how contacts should work and the types of features they would use. Some highlights... + Most people felt supporting some stamping scenarios would be very useful. + People preferred thinking about this in the context of a lightweight relationship management tool. + Someone brought up some good security issues with sharing ie: we might not want to share all fields ie: phone number. + We need to spend more time looking at security and sharing issues to work out all the details.

Philippe sent out a list of all the bugs that need to be fixed prior to the Chandler Localization String Code Freeze on July 9th
http://lists.osafoundation.org/pipermail/design/2007-July/007470.html

Katie started a thread on Item copy and paste for Preview (or not)
http://lists.osafoundation.org/pipermail/design/2007-July/007477.html
+ She wanted to clarify how Cut/Copy/Paste and Duplicate work, what works today, as well as which bugs are active, punted to future etc. + There is also the proposal to disable Cut/Copy/Paste at all times. Katie wanted to know if we really wished to consider that option. We could also consider disabling Paste in certain scenarios.
+ Mimi supported keeping in some level of support for Cut/Copy/Paste.

Jeffrey sent a summary of UI Behavior changes he had made as a result of some list discussion.
http://lists.osafoundation.org/pipermail/design/2007-July/007481.html
+ the Work collection is now selected at startup
+ All sections are now open by default, instead of closing everything but NOW
+ One more OOTB task was added, (Delete sample items, LATER)

Jeffrey followed up on an old bug - next week/previous week keybindings
http://lists.osafoundation.org/pipermail/design/2007-July/007482.html
+ He confirmed that Alt-Arrow moves between weeks on all platforms.

Vera sent out an update on her project - Requesting a report in the QuickEntry
http://lists.osafoundation.org/pipermail/design/2007-July/007485.html
+ Vera had a number of suggestions on how we could expand on the / report command and wanted some feedback.
