I agree we should up the ante on maintenance since 'Restore Published
Shares' has proven to be a useful data recovery tool.
However, I think that's a separate issue from where it belongs in the
menus.
I think of the features in the 'end-user menus' as functionality
users need access to assuming that Chandler is functioning 'as
expected'.
Even though we expect 'Restore Published Shares' to be used by end-
users, I still think of it as a hack...a tool we point people to when
something has gone wrong.
A different way to look at this is: Does this need to be a menu item?
Perhaps we should automatically start the restore-published-shares
process when users fill in sharing account information, assuming
there are already published shares. This is how IMAP accounts work.
