Thanks for the bug report. The first thing to try is to remove all
unsupported extensions by running:
cd ~/.local/share/gnome-shell/
rm -rf extensions
and then log in again. Although you may not want to do this, it is an
important first step to establish there is actually a bug in Ubuntu here
and not something introduced by extensions.
