I would like to use the Quick Launch stuff AND I like that the names are
generic. However it it completely useless as implemented in JDS3 since it
doesn't respect the default applications.

I don't mind if the name of the browser appears in the quick launch or not.
Personally what I would do is switch the application icon to Firefox but leave
it as "Web Browser".

Why would I use Quick Launch rather than a desktop or panel launcher ? Well I
don't put things on my desktop - I don't really do this on MacOS X either. I
currently use panel launchers because I can't add to the quick launch easily
but I'd like to be able to. I'd rather my panel wasn't full of application
launchers since it is much more useful for me to have the date/time the
notification bar and window and workspace applets there.

For the Applications menu, I hate the split between "Accessories" and
"Utilities" to me they are the same thing - smallish applications (when
compared to "big" applications like StarOffice or GIMP).

Why do we have in JDS3 an Administration submenu when most of the admin tools
aren't in it.
