Downloaded m73, came out today. Created a new BE. Tried the CLI update command. All completed. Went to start writer got an error message: screenshot Next tried to launch via CLI. Wouldn't work also: bash-4.0$ soffice bash: /usr/bin/soffice: /bin/sh: bad interpreter: No such file or directory bash-4.0$ Deleted the new BE. Created another new BE. Now tried the setup command. Setup started, recognized there was a previous install. I notice on the list for upgrade java was not listed. Clicked OK to start the upgrade. It finished sucessfully. Openoffice now started. Previously, when I tried the CLI upgrade I saved some text output: This appears to be an attempt to install the same architecture and version of a package which is already installed. This installation will attempt to overwrite this package. Installation of <SUNWj6cfg> was successful. Copyright 2010 Sun Microsystems, Inc. All rights reserved. Use is subject to license terms. Installation of <SUNWj6rt> was successful. I believe Openoffice not working has something to do with installing Java using pkgadd from the Openoffice upgrade command, as the setup install didn't include java.
