Cannot set volume in Karmic
Status in “gnome-media” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
This is for a freshly installed Karmic, it's not an upgrade from a
previous version.
When trying to set the volume, I get this message: "Waiting for sound
system to respond". Nothing never happens.
If I try to start gnome-volume-control from a terminal, I get this
error: "** (gnome-volume-control:3565): WARNING **: Connection failed,
reconnecting..."
