Marking as fixed, since we now have previews in Quantal which allow
this.

Title:
No means of uninstalling an app from the dash in 12.04
Status in “unity-lens-applications” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
There is no way of uninstalling an app from the dash. This would be
where most people would go to remove an application as they wouldn't
want to open the Software Centre to searh out the package and remove
it. It would be good if a means of removing the app from here by maybe
adding a little trash can to drag the icon to, or maybe make it right
clickable and having an option to uninstall. This would make
application more efficient and accessable to new users of the system
who are unfamiliar with the way packages work.
