See this failure every day at different times after boot. When it starts to fail every cell copy/paste will fail. Just because I don't know what to do next and I know there is a memory leak problem with gnome-shell I got into the failing condition and issued "gnome-shell --replace" and the next attempted at copy/paste worked although the failure comes back the next copy/paste. This may explain why when this is failing a reboot works.
