It appears that there is a problem using Keepassx in Zesty. I have been using Keepassx across many release of Ubuntu and not seen this problem. I can reproduce the problem above by just having the Keepassx window open (all Keepassx setting are at default). This now makes sense for the problem being intermittent (only fails when I've started Keepassx) and the fact that Keepassx is using the copy/paste function to pass on information. Not sure what to do with this bug report since this is clearly not a Libreoffice problem, see problems in Nautilus doing copy/paste operations also.
Successfully reproduce this problem on a Ubuntu-gnome 17.04 desktop.
